JUNE!

As we transition into the summer season, we think it's important to maintain a healthy work/life balance. While it is important to constantly work towards your goals, it is just as important to embrace the season and enjoy the beautiful weather and everything else the season has to offer.

This month, we'll be sharing some tips for all you recent (AND not-so-recent) graduates out there seeking your dream job. PLUS we'll be suggesting some (budget friendly) fun summer activities. AND we're having the second I Love Her Journey photo contest. Stay tuned!

  2. i play much harder than i work. i'm not sure if that means i don't work hard enough, or if i just really play THAT HARD.

  3. I always feel bad when I play harder than I work. But I also think "balance" at times is an ideal, and not as attainable as we'd like to imagine.

My remedy to working hard or just being overwhelmed by the stuck-in-the-rut feeling is TRAVELING, the sweet sweet entrance onto that plane, reading those somewhat fraudulent smiles, thinking about what awaits... (in a Homer-like trance)

  4. On my most recent trip to the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas I saw how they kept their work/life balance. They love life and don't let work interfere with that. That may not be for everyone, but the people of Abaco are happy.
